Ridgemor wines, is located in one of the prime wine areas of the Western Cape. Our wines were named after the name of the Farm - Ridgemor. Dating back to 1670, Ridgemor is one of the oldest wine farms in the area. In fact, the name "Ridgemor", which was established in 1862, derives from its original owners, Ridge and Morris.  
Initially, it belonged to Zandvliet and was used as a tobacco and cattle farm, yet because the farm was located in such an idyllic position for a wine farm, it was finally transformed into the wine farm we know today.
In 2003 the farm was bought by a small Dutch Family who founded Weening & Barge Winery @ Ridgemor, which is the symbol of the 360° quality of life in a bottle.

Devonair is a boutique wine estate situated at the top of Devon Valley to the west of Stellenbosch. The owners, Leon & Rina de Wit, bought the property in 2003 and are working hard at converting Devonair into a prestigious boutique wine estate.  Each year this exclusive estate produces limited numbers of its Cabernet Sauvignon and Ros� wines. The vineyard of 2.2 hectares is situated on a steep north westerly slope.  After receiving a double gold Veritas award and a 4-star Platter rating for its Cabernet Sauvignon 2000 vintage, wine production was interrupted by the previous owner for a few years. Leon & Rina decided as the new owners to re-introduce the tradition of wine making at Devonair.  Devonair also offers luxurious accommodation on its prestigious boutique wine estate. They are also proud of their delicious 'extra virgin olive oil' that's extracted and specially packed by The Olive Shed at Tokara Wine Estate.

There are six different beading groups with up to 500 women who produce beadwork for the Bayede! Royal Wines. This project gives people hope, puts food on tables and creates sustainable jobs.
